I would like to decorate the outside of the cup with 651 indoor/outdoor vinyl and not use the insert at all and sell to my customers. Is that feasible? Would it like professional with out the insert in the cup at all and decorated on the outside?

Yes, many of our customers use vinyl stickers on the outside of our photo drinkware. However, they usually use a fun piece of scrapbook paper to create a background instead of nothing at all. It's really a matter of personal preference. You can call and order a sample to test it out and see how it looks.
