Item Number: 9815

  • Intended to be used with 2.25" Neil Metal Button Machine (#102BM-KIT)
  • Cuts the perfect size circle, 2.625" needed to create 2.25" metal buttons (the circle is slightly larger than the actual button because the edge gets wrapped around the metal)
  • This handheld punch has a viewing area to make sure your design is cut in the right spot
  • This cutter is NOT adjustable, it only cuts one size circle
  • This cutter does NOT work with 20# copy paper. It works with paper 32# or heavier, this includes paper used for flyers, brochures, books, and photo paper.

To cut your circles:

1. Slide in your paper
2. Line your design up so it's visible in the viewing area
3. Push on the red handle to cut
4. Open up the clear cover to remove your circles
Your circles are now ready for creating buttons!

A great option

"These punches worked great for me. 2. 625 is an unusual as size to get, and other places were way too expensive for alternatives ($80!+)."

Button Machine

"Only Had cutter for 1 week and it stop cutting. Part broke off inside machine and it was rattling around. Only used it for 2 days and it broke."

"Shipping was fast, but the item is frustratingly fragile. Unfortunately, it’s the only circle cutter that cuts a consistent, effective shape for the machine."

Redesign might be good since it’s intended for button use.

"I’ve been having trouble with it getting stuck in the down position and sometimes not fully cutting in one small spot (side closest to where the red part connects). It works pretty well when I can have it flat side down, but since I’m using it to make buttons (which seems to be its intended purpose), I need to be able to look see where the hole lines up with my image on the paper, using it flat end down isn’t really possible unless I want to hold it above my head and look up. I use a different brand (EK) in the same way for my 1.25” buttons and have no problems."

Love it! Made it so

"Love it! Made it so much faster!"

Metal Button Punch

"We love it! It was tested the same day we received it. The clear plastic cover is so helpful."

Kinda works

"Never cuts well but close enough for my needs. Did break but was able to fix it."

Broke at the first use!

"What a cheap piece of junk! It was working fine for the first 25 or so punches and then, something began to shake inside, and it wouldn't punch through the computer paper correctly...only punching through at a few small spots. As I shook it, a rectangular piece of plastic came out of it. It still doesn't punch all the way through the paper. I needed my buttons finished by this weekend for competition and now I have to hand cut everything! I was hoping that maybe I could open it up and try to fix whatever was broken, but there's no way to get into the inside. Not sure why it even has the two screws at the bottom...it doesn't allow you to access anything."

Great quality!

"I have other punches that I’ve purchased as Michael’s or Hobby Lobby, but they do not compare to the quality of Thai punch. Really makes my pin-making much easier! Thank you!"

Kimberly P. (5/5)

A little hard to eject

"A little hard to eject the paper but cuts well for the price. Doesn’t cut clean if edge is 1mm from cut edge. But again great for price and very quick. Thx"
